It seem’s nearly everyone thinks Manchester United’s title hopes are over with most of the Monday papers running the story on their lucrative back pages.
From “United Finished”, “Liverpool End United’s Title Challenge” etc etc.. But do you really think their finished after their second defeat in less than a week, First to Chelsea 2-1 then yesterday’s 3-1 thumping at Anfield
I suspect not! After all these are the same stories printed about United’s title rivals not so long ago. But now it seems they’ve have changed their assumptions very quickly and think United are now finished and the Gunner or Chelsea will take the EPL title this season.
However my take on these stories is that they are furious with Fergie for not giving them any Interviews before or after the Anfield defeat, so they’ve decided to try infuriate him into coming out with all guns blazing. They should be warned the last media source the BBC infuriated him almost two years ago and they haven’t been given an interview from him ever since. Plus I imagine had he given an interview yesterday their would have been a few choice words about Jamie Carraghers leg breaking challenge on Nani.
