Celtic Reinstated in Europa League
Celtic will play in this seasons Europa League after UEFA chose to suspend FC Sion for fielding ineligible players. The result of UEFA’s investigation process will be a huge relief to the hierarchy at Celtic, who faced a huge financial loss by not playing in Europe this season. The Swiss side have been adjudged by UEFA to have included five ineligible players in their squad for the two fixtures, with Pascal Feindouno, Gabri, Mario Mutsch, Jose Goncalves and Billy Ketkeophomphone all taking to the field against Neil Lennon’s side.
Neil Lennon’s and his players can now look forward to the group stages of the competition, where they will face Atletico Madrid, Udinese and Rennes.

Irish heroes Shamrock Rovers were drawn in Group A of the Europa League alongside Tottenham, Rubin Kazan and PAOK Salonica today.
Rubin Kazan should be favourites having drawn three times with Barcelona in the last two seasons in the Champions League and let’s hope Rovers can stuff Tottenham after their director of football Darren Eales disrestful comments of “At least we got Shamrock”.
Shamrock Rovers Re-Write Irish History After Reaching Group Stages of Europa League
Airtricity League champion’s Shamrock Rovers have re-wrote history after beating Partizan Belgrade 2-1 in Belgrade tonight after extra-time.
Having drawn the 1st leg in Tallaght 1-1 last week, it looked like Rovers were down and out when Partizan took the lead in the 35th minute, however Pat Sullivan struck a 30 yard volley on the hour mark to draw Rovers level on aggregate, before sending the keeper the wrong way for Rovers 112th minute winning penalty. The win gives the Hoops their biggest European triumph in Irish soccer history.

Fulham cruised to a 3-0 victory over minnows NSI Runavik at Craven Cottage to-night in their 1st leg Europa League qualifier.
Damien Duff gave the Cottagers a 1-0 half-time lead, before Danny Murphy (penalty) and Andy Johnson completed the rout giving Martin Jol a winning start to his Fulham career.
