David Beckham joined the British Paralympic team for a kick about and looked relatively un-easy on a football pitch for the very first time in his life. His appearnce was inconjunction with Sainsbury’s 1 Million Kids Challenge.

PSG Latest Club on Beckham Trail
Paris St Germain have become the latest club to be interested in the signature of 36 year old former England captain David Beckham, which is bad news for newly promoted EPL side QPR who went public about their interest in Beckham’s signature after his current LA Galaxy contract expires at the end of the MLS season.
PSG boss Leonardo Stated:
“I coached him at AC Milan and we created a good relationship,” said the Brazilian. “He is more than a football player, but when you see him every day he trains and plays like a kid. He is someone that I really appreciate and admire so much – his values and everything he has done in football.”
QPR Make Audacious Swoop For Beckham
New QPR owner Malaysian tycoon Tony Fernandes has made an audacious swoop for David Beckham.
Fernandes has offered Beckham first team football at Loftus Road as Beckham bid’s to keep his Olympic games participation alive. Beckham will become a free agent as his current LA Galaxy contract is set to expire at the end of the current MLS season.
Robbie Keane Unveiled at LA Galaxy
Earlier this week, we broke the news that Robbie Keane was on his way to Los Angeles for a medical with the LA Galaxy. Well, today he was officially unveiled as one of the latest DPs (Designated Players) to join the MLS.

For the press conference, Keane was joined by Galaxy coach Bruce Arena and fellow stars Landon Donovan and David Beckham. He trained with the team earlier in the day for the first time and said it felt great to get a run out. Asked if he will play in tomorrow nights game with San Jose Earthquakes, Arena stated that Robbie would see substantial time – although they were going to monitor him before the game.
Keane reiterated the fact that he is here to “play soccer” when quizzed by reporters, who were trying to imply he was here for other reasons. I have no doubt that the former Spurs man is here to make an impact on the league and I have a funny suspicion that he will bang in a lot of goals – he is a natural goalscorer and has the right mentality to really succeed in the league! In terms of the Irish team, he stated that he intends to continue playing as long as Trappatoni wants him, and when with the national team he will give nothing less than 100%!
Argentina Sign New Adidas Deal Despite Early Copa Exit
Adidas have agreed a new sponsorship deal with the Argentine soccer team until December 2022, despite the teams early Copa America elimination to Uruguay on Penalties on home soil. Argentina have been wearing Adidas shirts since the 1974 World Cup where Germany also wore the same sponsored shirts.
It’s another giant deal for Adidas who have been supplying equipment to Referee’s, volunteers, ball kids and the Official match footballs for the World Cup, although the Jabulani came in for some criticism for the 2010 World Cup In South Africa with some players comparing it to a beach ball rather than a football.
In addition to been the major sponsors of World Cups, Adidas also supply equipment to the MLS and the Champions League to name a few, while also supplying major teams such as Real Madrid, Marseille, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, AC Milan and Liverpool.
Stars such as Lionel Messi, David Beckham, Kaka, David Villa and Michael Ballack are also among the players who represent their respective clubs wearing Adidas equipment and not to forget Adidas also supply World and European Champions Spain with their attire.

Beckham Back at Galaxy
David Beckham has returned to MLS side LA Galaxy having trained with EPL side Tottenham since early January. Beckham believes his stint at the London club will have him at his best this season as he bids for another successful season in LA.
Beckham Helps Stranded Motorist Push Car
A stranded motorist rang into BBC Five Live Radio Station today telling how to his total astonishment David Beckham helped him push his broken down Nissan Primera.
The listener Paul told presenter Richard Bacon that having been stranded for over ten minutes on a busy Hertfordshire roundabout after a School run, Beckham wearing a hoody approached him and helped him push his broken down motor.
Beckham who is currently training with Tottenham may have a career in the AA after his playing days are over by the sounds of it. But fair play to him for helping the guy out.
David Beckham Wins Lifetime Achievement Award
David Beckham received a Lifetime Achievement Award tonight at the 2010 Sports Personality of the Year bash which was won by Jockey AP McCoy.
Beckham received the award for his work in getting the 2012 Olympics to London as-well as his numerous other achievements which there are too many to name.
