Keane Goal Put’s Galaxy into MLS Final

Robbie Keane’s 68th minute goal ensured LA Galaxy would be in this years MLS Cup Final as the Galaxy beat Real Salt Lake City 3-1 last night. Galaxy will meet Houston Dynamo in the Final after they beat Kansas City 2-0 in the earlier game on Sunday.

LA Galaxy v New York Red Bulls Highlights

LA Galaxy advanced to the Western Conference Finals last night with a 2-1 win at home to New York Red Bulls and 3-1 on aggregate.

Luke Rodgers fired the Red Bulls into a five minute lead before Mike Magee scorer of that all important go‎al in the first leg equalised before Landon Donovan’s spot-kick made sure the Galaxy were in next Sundays Final where they will play Real Salt Lake City who accounted for the Colorado Rapids in the other semi-finals.

Sporting Kansas City look set to join either New York Red Bulls or LA Galaxy in the MLS Play-off Final after beating the Colorado Rapids 2-0 in their 1st leg play-off semi-final match up.

Teal Bunbury grabbed both goals one via the penalty spot to put Sporting Kansas in the driving seat to reach the final.

New York Red Bulls v LA Galaxy Play-Off Highlights

Mike Magee’s first half goal was enough to see LA Galaxy 1-0 winners over New York Red Bulls in last nights 1st leg play-off a slushy Red Bull Arena last night.

However the tie was marred by a fight after the final whistle as both Rafael Marquez and Juninho were shown red cards ruling them out of the return leg later this week.

Beckham v Kreis Hand Bags at Dawn

David Beckham and Real Salt Lake head coach Jason Kreis get into a heated argument at the end of Galaxy’s 2-0 win over the visitors last week.

Apparently Beckham was unhappy with \KFreis yelling at the referee and words were exchanged which seem to have got to Beckham who jogged after Kreis for a little bit of hand bags at dawn.

Fernandes has offered Beckham first team football at Loftus Road as Beckham bid’s to keep his Olympic games participation alive. Beckham will become a free agent as his current LA Galaxy contract is set to expire at the end of the current MLS season.
