Chris Coleman’s Wales Appointment Could Turn Sour
Chris Coleman’s appointment as Wales manager was a momentous day for the former Welsh International aswell as been a sad day as he said himself the only reason he got the job he relished most was because his best friend and former Welsh manager Gary Speed was no longer with us.
However Coleman’s appointment may go to the Courts after Greek side Larissa who Coleman resigned from last week after claims his staff had not been paid for months.
A club statement read:
“We have started legal proceedings…to claim compensation from the Welsh FA.”
“Once it became known that Chris Coleman, who has a contract until next June, would be leaving, the club has been heavily criticised despite the president saying publicly he did everything to keep Coleman at the club.
“Instead of asking for an apology from all those who criticised us, we instead feel the need to apologise for our choice in appointing Chris Coleman.”

Eto’o Given Ten Days to Appeal 15 Game International Ban
Cameroon’s most decorated player and captain, Samuel Eto’o has 10 days to appeal his International 15 game ban handed down to the striker after he incited player’s to go on strike last month which prompted Cameroon’s friendly with Algeria to be postponed.
The strike followed a row over bonuses after a tournament in Morocco in November. Vice-captain Enoh Eyong received a two-match ban, while Tottenham’s Benoit Assou-Ekotto was fined $1,980 (£1,276).
The Cameroonian federation released a statement saying. “Mr Samuel Eto’o Fails for violating the internal regulations of the national team relating to loyalty and obligation of participating in a match has been suspended for 15 matches with the national team.”
Euro 2012 Draw, Fixtures, Times And Stadiums
The draw for the 2012 European Championships were drawn today in Kiev in what was the most boring and complicated draw I ever saw. Group D is definitely the Group of Death, with Germany,Holland,Denmark and Portugal to fight it out for supremacy, While England’s Group looks easier than usual with Ukraine, Sweden and France in Group D, the Rep. of Ireland will face champions Spain, Italy and Croatia in Group C, while Russia who topped the Republic’s Group will fancy their chances of topping Group A ahead of Poland, Greece and the Czech Rep.
