We’ve all being singing the praises of Maroane Fellaini this season as he almost single handedly kept Everton in the Champions League spot, however today he showed a real nasty side, as he blatantly head-butted Ryan Shawcross as Stoke and Everton drew 1-1 today.
That said, and as a Liverpool fan, kudos to David Moyes for coming out and being frank about the incident. Fellaini has let down his team mates and the club – if only the rest of the managers (including our own Brendan Rodgers) can be honest about the dirty aspects of the game, it would be much more enjoyable.
In saying that after the coverage I’ve seen of the game Moyes had no choice but to condemn his star-player, two head-butts and and elbow to Shawcross’s chin put payed to that.
