This is the new 2013 Adidas Katlego football which was specially designed for this Spring’s African Nations cup to be hosted by South Africa.
The Katlego is the 4th specifically designed Adidas ball for this precise tournament which see’s the cream of African footballers battle it out for supremacy.
The name of the new ball “Katlego” means success in the SeSotho language and was chosen by African fans via an on-line poll.
The name of the ball goes with the motto of the tournament which is:
“Success doesn’t fall from the sky…. It is born in our dreams.”
