On-loan Arsenal mis-fit Denilson scores a 40 yard screamer for Sao Paulo against Palmeiras last week and thanked his Mum who passed away in 1998, adding:
”She and God helped me a lot, especially with that shot. She always dreamt of me scoring for Sao Paulo. There was nothing fortunate about that shot. I knew it would go in.
“There was something in the way the ball went in. I think my mother put her hand on the ball and guided it as well.”
