Peru goalscorer Carlos Zambrano went off on one following Peru’s 1-1 draw with Argentina in a World Cup qualifier, in a post match interview the Frankfurt defender blasted:
“Lionel Messi didn’t do much, he must have been scared. We had a debt to our fans and we repaid it with good football. Gonzalo Higuain and Messi complained about everything, they are little girls. Higuain tried to provoke me the whole time, but I behaved well.
“We deserved to win, we played very good football. I’m angry because we only got one point. We knew we could win but we lost two points. The Argentines were frustrated, they didn’t know how to stop us. They couldn’t get possession of the ball. They tried to work me up with insults. They think they’re untouchable, but that’s wrong because football is for men.”
Judging by the Getty image above one of those so called little girls struck back at the self confessed hardman.
