Another unconvincing Manchester City performance earlier today saw the Premier League champions take the lead against the run of play late in the first half before Vincent Kompany’s attempted chip over the keeper was made to look a bit better than it was when the Besiktas keeper got a hand to the chip which looped high and into the back of the net.
