Team GB ladies footballers got off to a perfect start in their Olympic opener today at the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff, with Arsenal’s Steph Houghton grabbing the only goal of the game with a placed free-kick struck from just outside the D as the Nine English and two Scots beat New Zealand 1-0.
