Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has announced that former Gunners legend Thierry Henry has re-joined the club on a two month loan deal from MLS side New York Red Bulls.
It comes as no surprise in football circles that the Frenchman has returned to his spiritual home, having been training with the London club during the MLS off-season, but will this move make or break the Gunners stuttering season?
Henry’s record at Arsenal speaks for itself with him scoring 226 goals in 370 competitive appearances for the club before moving to Barcelona in 2007, however Henry’s apprentice at the time was Robin Van Persie who is now the main man at the Emirates and the flying Dutchman may not take kindly to his former teacher taking the limelight.
Then again Arsenal will lose both Gervinho and Maroaune Chamakh to the African Nations Cup but with the way Chamakh has started his Arsenal career even Comedian Lenny Henry could replace him!
