Everton boss David Moyes has admitted he made a costly error in fielding a strong starting IX in their extra-time Carling Cup defeat to Chelsea in midweek.
The Toffees will be without captain and former Manchester United fledgling Phil Neville, Tim Cahill and Real Madrid’s teen sensation Royston Drenthe for their Noon showdown with Premier League Champions Manchester United tomorrow at Goodison Park.
Neville was substituted at half-time with a hamstring injury, Cahill played all 120 minutes of their failed cup tie, while Drenthe picked up a red card for a second bookable offence as their Carling Cup dreams ended. Will Everton be hit for Six tomorrow?
