Real Madrid defender Ricardo Carvalho has walked out on Portugal and announced his retirement from international football after being made feel inadequate at the teams training base in Portugal ahead of their 2012 Euro qualifier against Cyprus tomorrow night. It’s believed Carvalho was to be dropped for the clash however before losing his dignity the 75 capped Portuguese international quit with immediate effect.
