Real Madrid have signed a seven-year old Argentine star named Leo. Yes, you did read that right – he was born in 2004! The young star is seen above holding a copy of a signing letter from Real Madrid.
Leonel Angel Coira was reported by Argentinian sports daily Ole to be Real Madrid’s youngest ever signing, although the club denied this. He will begin practice with his new side on September 6. But, don’t expect to see him in action for a few years yet! Leo might have to win over Real fans considering he admitted that his idol was Barcelona striker Lionel Messi, and that he preferred to pass the ball rather than score goals.
