Manchester United’s former South Korean captain Park Ji Sung (30) has extended his contract by another year which will see him contracted to the club until 2013.
Park who quit international football last season has scored 24 goals in 177 appearances for the Red Devils including the winner against both Arsenal and Chelsea last season. Not bad for a player seen by many as a ploy by the club to use him as a selling icon on the Asian market after signing from PSV in 2005.
