Colombia scrapped past 10-man Costa Rica in their Copa America opener, thanks to a goal from Adrian Ramos just on the stroke of half-time. Costa Rica were gallant in defeat having to play the last hour with 10 men after Randall Brenes deservedly seen red following his horror tackle on Luis Perea.
