Dimitar Berbatov has quashed the rumours that he left the Wembley Stadium when told he would not be in Manchester United’s Champions League Final squad to play Barcelona.
Media reports told how Berbatov shunned his team-mates following their 3-1`defeat to Barcelona last week but in actual fact Berbatov sat in the dressing room watching the game on a big screen. He explained he couldn’t face the disappointment of missing out on the final but did not shun his team-mates or walk out on the club despite some trouble making reporter’s saying he did.
Berbatov also revealed, he want’s to stay at the club and fight for United’s 20th title which is sweet music to the United fan’s who still believe he can be an important asset to the club next season, just like he was last season.
