Martin Atkinson (40) will be this years Referee for the FA Cup Final between Manchester City and Stoke at Wembley in May.
Atkinson started refereeing at the age of 15 and has said he never thought he’d see the day when he would be officiating at an FA Cup Final at Wembley.
However he may not of been had Manchester United made it to the Showpiece Final, after all Atkinson was the referee which Fergie blasted as not been up to scratch, which led to his current 5 game touchline ban. And after watching some of these clips below I think Fergie may have had a point.
