A lot of people will not have heard of Newcastle’s new signing Shefki Kuqi. So here’s a brief review of the guy who is replacing Andy Carroll at Newcastle.
- Shefki Kuqi is a 34 year old Finland International who won 62 caps scoring 7 goals for his Country.
- Newcastle will be his 13th club and his 8th English club.
- His best spell came in 2003-05 with Ipswich where he scored 30 goals in 79 games.
- He has played in the EPL before with Blackburn in 2005-06 scoring 7 goals in 34 games.
- And finally he was released by Championship side Swansea in January 2011 after failing to make the first team squad.
