Loved by the Red Devils hated by the opposition, Manchester United defender Gary Neville (35) has announced his retirement for the game with immediate effect.
Neville leaves the game having won 8 Premier League Titles, 3 FA Cups, 2 League Cups, 3 Community Shields, 1 Champions League 1999, 1 Intercontinental Cup and a FIFA World Club Cup.
Neville made over 80 appearances for England and was named on no fewer than 5 PFA Team of the Years, 1997, ’98, ’99, 2005, 2007.
Red Nev as he was known to United fans was a leader at Manchester United and will be sadly missed by the club he supported, captained and won everything that can be won at club level in English Football.
