The story behind the commercials is PokerStars latest project Home Games, which allows poker players to compete against friends in private games online. As if to remind players about the filth, fun and frolics of poker among buddies, the videos recall the surreal highs and bizarre lows of playing poker in the living room.
The Home Games software at PokerStars allows players the chance to set up their own exclusive poker club, and then send invitations to their friends to join the action. Players can customise their own lobby and league, offer whatever games they like – cash or tournament – in any poker variation, and for any stakes.
