Last week, Puma unveiled the 2011 Women’s collection before the start of the 2011 WPS league. The event, which was essentially a launch party, gave attendees a glimpse into a “Day in the Life” of a budding female soccer star. The event included athlete appearances (including my favorite, Leslie Osbourne), PUMA’s Women’s Soccer Training Collection debut, new WPS uniforms, and a performance by Fefe Dobson.
Personally, I am a huge fan of Women’s soccer and hope to see the game really grow in 2011. For some reason, the game really has not caught on here in the US although the women’s team have won the World Cup and the worlds best player, Brazil’s Marta, plays in the league.
