According to reports circulating in the UK press, U.S and Aston Villa keeper Brad Friedel has been declared bankrupt, despite earning £40,000 a week at Villa Park.
It’s believed Friedel’s US Soccer Academy has run up debts of up to£5m. The Academy was set up by Friedel in his native Ohio to help train players for European soccer.
