Former Manchester United star-let Ronnie Wallwork (33) was nicked yesterday at Manchester Airport as part of an investigation into a robbery in which a Securicor Guard was shot.
Wallwork who played 19 times for United and also represented England under-20′s was nicked after returning from holiday and questioned in relation to stealing high performance cars which were used in raids on Securicor vans. Wallwork was later bailed.
Six other men arrested in the Police sting were also questioned, four of which were charged in relation to attempted Murder and Robbery.
