Andy Gray has officially been released from his contract at SkySports it has been revealed today. This follows the sexist comment incident that took place at the weekend, for which Gray received a warning.
But, in the days since, an incident that took place in December has caused the English company to part ways with the controversial soccer pundit. The announcement comes as a huge surprise as Gray draws a huge attendance for his very straight forward analysis of the game.
Barney Francis, managing director of Sky Sports, said: “Andy Gray’s contract has been terminated for unacceptable behaviour. After issuing a warning yesterday, we have no hesitation in taking this action after becoming aware of new information today.”
