Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has received a two week ban and the season hasn’t even started yet. United fans can relax though as it was handed down by Manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
Fergie wasted no time in giving Rooney his famous hairdryer treatment after Rooney was pictured smoking and urinating at the back of a Manchester night-club at the week-end. And it’s not the first time Rooney was pictured with a fag in his hand on another occasion when on holiday in Las Vegas, Rooney was pictured smoking poolside.
Rooney was pictured at the night-club with Wife Colleen and a few mates, in which the party went on into the early hours of the following day, after going on a 8 hour bender last Saturday night.
Fergie reportedly gave Rooney his dressing down in front of his club mates telling him he wasn’t to set foot out-side the door for the next two-weeks as his punishment. And Rooney should be aware that many players have crossed swords with Fergie over the years with only one winner emerging, Fergie.
Hopefully Fergie’s tongue lashing will keep Rooney from self-destructing as his game has deteriorated since his World Cup Nigthmare in South Africa.
Cops have also revealed Rooney won’t be charged over his urinating offence stating that people could only be prosecuted in the UK if caught in the act by an Officer or if complaints were received.
