French captain Patrice Evra is furious after Nicolas Anelka’s bust up with manager Raymond Domenech at half-time in their dismal defeat to Mexico was leaked to the press.
Anelka was reported to have told Domenech at half-time to “Go f..k yourself, dirty son of a whore”, Anelka was subsequently substituted after the bust up.
The French Soccer Federation gave Anelka the chance to apologise for his foul mouthed outburst but Anelka refused and he was subsequently kick off the France team.
Evra was incensed with the leak saying: The leak came from someone in this group, who wishes the French team harm, the problem isn’t Anelka, it’s the traitor amongst us”.
Domenech is no stranger to controversy as he showed Thierry Henry who was boss by benching him after their little bust up, it is strange that it was Anelka who made the out burst as Domenech has shown confidence in the player even though his goals ratio for his country is not the best.
But as far as I’m concerned the French deserve all the bad luck they can get after cheating their way to South Africa in the first place, go on South Africa send them home with another defeat later this week.
