Current World Footballer of the Year, Lionel Messi has revealed he is Messi by name, Messi by nature. He also says how he doesn’t like been flash and he is no better a person for what he has achieved than any other person, in his usual modest self.
He revealed: “I’m a disaster at home.” He lives on take-aways and never cleans up , despite earning almost £32 million a year.
He also drives a car given to him by the club,which is an Audi, unlike his other professional footballers who own several expensive models. He also admits he’s not that interested in been flash.
When speaking of his massive salary he said modestly: ” I am neither better or worse a person because of what money or material I have. I am not better than others.
Messi also revealed he never kicked a ball till he was 5 years-old, but it came natural to him from the start.
A pal also said: “He’s an amazing footballer, but when it comes to his car and domestic chores he’s a nightmare.
What a change it is to here such a great player not thinking the sun shines out of his arse.
