Former Scotland striker Paul Dickov is waiting to discover if he has done enough to land a contract at Toronto FC after featuring in a friendly match in Florida.
The 37-year-old, who played for Arsenal , Man City, Leicester and Blackburn, played 70 minutes as a trialist in the MLS side’s 0-0 draw with DC United on Wednesday.
The marksman, who is also wanted by English League One side Leeds United after negotiating his release from Leicester last month, was keen to impress manager Preki and director of soccer and fellow countryman, ex-Celtic and Rangers striker Mo Johnston.
Radosavljevic, whose side are moving their pre-season preparations from Bradenton to Orlando, said “Going to Orlando will give us more time to put some guy’s on the field and to have a look at some of the guy’s who are here on trial.
“Hopefully we will make some good decisions pretty soon.”
