Real Madrid’s record signing Cristiano Ronaldo, has openly admitted that he is missing life at former club Manchester United, and is leaving the door open to a
return to Old Trafford. It is a pretty crazy turn of events from the Portuguese star, who’s life long dream it was to play at Real Madrid. But to be honest, the likelyhood of him rejoining United is very small, particularly since Manchester United are unlikely to fork out a huge fee to resign him. Another question is whether Sir Alex Ferguson would have any interest in getting him back! It is well known that Sir Alex does not look back, he turned down the opportunity to resign David Beckham 2 seasons ago when the LA Galaxy star expressed his interest in returning to the Premier League!
Ronaldo won 3 Premier League titles and a Champions League title while at Manchester United, and there is no doubt that Sir Alex played a huge role in developing him into the World player of the Year in 2008. When asked about Wayne Rooney, Ronaldo stated that he could see the on form striker leading England in this summer’s World Cup.
